This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

"Wax Works"; Veronica thinks Archie is very low brow after criticizing her classical records. "A Current Love"; Betty and Reggie try to get Archie and Veronica to themselves by using the baseball game to get Archie away from Veronica so Reggie can move in. "Old Soldiers Never Die!"; Mr. Weatherbee gets a letter from the draft board to report for a physical. "Pop's Prize Surprise"; Archie enters his mother into a Mother of the Year contest with a trip to Bermuda for the winner. "Battle Up"; Veronica picks a fight with Archie because it's fun making up afterwards. "Beaux 'n' Arrows" text story. "Mantle of the Majors"; Reggie keeps bragging about his baseball skills when Jughead insults him. "No Ifs, Ands or Boats!"; Jughead and Archie build a boat and take it out onto the water but at first it takes on water and then after fixing that problem Archie crashes it into a garbage scow. "Wrong Whey"; Jughead is babysitting a girl for the afternoon and Archie asks if he could borrow some money since he's getting paid for it. "Dance Bait"; When Betty tells Reggie that Archie and Veronica had a quarrel he runs over to her house to take advantage of the situation. "Suit--Yourself"; A department store is having an event at the school to give new outfits to the best dressed students and faculty. "Reggie Makes History"; Mr. Weatherbee promises to prevent Reggie from going to the school dance unless he passes a history test. "Moose Taken Identity"; Midge is tired of Moose's jealousy ruining her life. "Confidentially It Shrinks"; Archie and the gang watch a film on black magic and shrinking heads. "Short but Sweet"; Betty buys a cheap dress and Veronica says it's too cheap and it won't last. "The Dumb Clock"; Archie is late for class and Mr. Weatherbee calls him into his office. "Swollen Profits"; Business has been slow for Pop Tate so Jughead suggests a gimmick to bring people in. "All Unstrung"; The guys are using yo-yos and the girls tell them it's childish but then take the yo-yos and do their own tricks. "Allergy for Algy"; Veronica sends a letter writing about Algernon the 5th, a champion boxer who she's wild about and has become inseparable from. 100 pgs., full color.
