Up for sale is a high quality antique lidded German, Mettlach pottery beerstein #1403.It'ssculptedout of thick pottery walls, has a stunning glazedfinish, and isbeautifullypainted/engraved by hand with a stylized figural scene.The stein has a nice hinged pewter lidwhichfeatures a largethumb piece.This lovely stein is in good condition and measures 8 3/4 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches long.There is a small chip to the bottom of the handle as seen in last photo.
