Stunning antique Meissen Germany Neoclassical hand-painted porcelain vase, c. late 19th to early 20th Century. Features hand-painted floral sprays to the front and back with gilt painting throughout the white ground. The urn has two intertwined snake handles with detailed gilt scales, base is marked with the Meissen under glazed blue crossed swords and is numbered from a previous collection. Measures 8 3/4" high x 5" handle to handle x 3 1/4" diameter at rim. Excellent condition with the exception of a chip to the rim and a small chip to the side edge that can be touched up, no other losses or issues. (Neither are very noticeable).A fine addition to any home or collection!
