IT IS PERSONALLY ENGRAVED ON THE BACK
FROM LODGE # 990 - GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA,
WHEN CLOSED IT MEASURES 4-1/8" x 1-1/2",
TOTAL WEIGHT OF 49.7 GRAMSIt is personally engraved on the back with the original owner's full name and lodge, otherwise, it shows typical wear from use and handling, including surface scuff marks, scratches, and there is an open gap when closed. It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine and is very clean. It is straight and not bent out of shape, enamel finish on the top emblem has bright color with no visible damage, with no major issues at all.It is very ornately done in a Victorian Era style design featuring a repousse floral and scroll motif, and the Elks head, BPOE banner, and enamel emblem on the front. It is hallmarked on the back top with a letter F inside a 4 pointed oval, mark forhistoric and listed USA fine jewelry maker, The Gustave Fox Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
