From the estate of a prolific collector, this is a beautifully cared for figure of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, This tribute to the French general and self-proclaimed emperor Napoleon I, renowned for his strategies, discovering the Rosetta Stone, implementing civil law and educational programs, was made between 1850 and 1875 by Staffordshire - marked “Staffordshire Made in England”. It measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4" across at the base.. The coat is a deep cobalt blue. This one has a green and orange waistcoat. There are no scratches or chips on this one. All of the marks are from the manufacturing process. There are small round felt pads on the bottom.
