Antique 19th Century Porcelain Victorian Woman with Dog Hand Painted FigurineThis is a family heirloom that has been in our family since the late 1800's. Originally owned by my great grandmother who was married to a prominent German business man and who lived in the early 1920s in a fancy apartment along Central Park in NYC.She had this statue and another very similar. There is no base mark on this lovely lady - just two imprinted numbers 30 and 28.It is believed these came from Germany or elsewhere in Europe.Figure measures 7"L x 4"W x 9.25" high. There is a small irregular mark on the front of the dress and a tiny chip (rough spot) on the lower base edge. Also a tiny rattle on the inside of the figurine ?! See last two photos.
