Chief heap-o-luck has a cool limerick on the base

“Him big chief

Out o luck

Make um brief

Rub um nose

Blink um eye

Lift u chin

Trouble fly”

This guy has a 100 plus years patina, I believe he was a good luck charm at a tobacco store. Some gentle cleaning reveals great color, and while a full restorative clean could bring him back to life, I think his story tells more like it is. See pics
