This is an original printed Model Sheet for Mumbles from the classic The Dick Tracy Show by UPA Pictures, Inc. from 1961, based on the legendary newspaper comic strip by Chester Gould. The full sheet measures approximately 12 1/2" by 10 1/4", and is on 3-peghole Management Bond paper (1 round, 2 rectangular). It is in overall good displayable condition, but please note you should be able to see in the scan that there is a stain marking at the top of the paper. This is near the blank margin area at the top, so this could actually be matted out if you choose to put it in a matte and frame it, but please be aware of this. It shows more from the back side of the paper, so we have included a scan of the back side of the page. This is a very rare piece, as you almost never see these turn up, and there may not be many left in existence. It features truly outstanding and expressive images of one of the classic villains from the Rogues Gallery of the legendary detective. It is noted as a "FINAL MODEL 2/22/61", and would be a great addition to any to be made within 7 days of sale close. International buyers please contact us for terms before offerding.
