Very unusual and detailed hand carved wood figurine depicting a bearded man in a long, hooded green robe. Primitive or folk art style. Not sure what character this is meant to depict--perhaps Santa, or a woodland creature like an elf or gnome?
Stands 11\" high. The bottom has two holes and some glue residue, which may indicate he once stood on a base, though I can\'t be certain. There is no marking on this carving to indicate the maker, and I have no idea of age or origin of this interesting hand made art piece.
