Vintage Uncommon Reed No. 102-1/2 Small Bench Vise 2-1/2” Jaws 1912 & 1914 PAT.

Offered is a rare very old Reed small stationary bench vise. It is a 2-1/2” jaw No. 102 1/2 vise. It has two patent dates on it “PAT. DEC. 24, 1912” & “PAT. AUG. 11, 1914. Overall it is in good solid condition. It doesn’t look to have been used much. It isn’t abused. The jaws are in good shape and there are no cracks or breaks. Obviously I did not do any cleaning to it. I left it as I found it. It has some rust and patina. That said, it operates smoothly. Nothing is seized up. The rust doesn’t appear to be really deep or pitted, but it does have a solid patina all over it. Everyone prefers to clean them up in different ways so I’m leaving that to the buyer. It weighs right around 14 lbs. USA made. Nice quality small uncommon Reed vise. It will make an excellent addition to someone’s collection.
