Nice condition General Electric art deco floor fan. No major damage bends, or breaks. Finish wear from age and use. Scratches and marks, little bit of paint loss. Everything is original except the power cord and end. Great looking fan with excellent design and style. The best part is it works as good as it looks. The motor was gone through and cleaned. The shafts were cleaned and polished. All of the old grease was removed from the gear box and replaced with new grease. The oil wick and can were cleaned and fresh oil put in. The power cord cord had been previously replaced with the original plug. The plug was unsafe to use so it was replaced with safe modern plug in the correct style. The motor runs strong and quiet. The oscillating motion is nice and smooth. It did stick on me once during one of our test periods. It seemed to be the angle of the fan head or the fan not sitting completely level. Once the fan was moved it ran smooth through all of our other testing.
