Antique or early vintage corona style saddle pad for a parade saddle. Handmade with hand tied black and beige wool rolls, burgundy paisley fabric on the top, sheepskin lined underside, with leather laces for adjustment. This is an original corona pad, Roy Rogers era and before. It measures 35" long including the rolls. Pad length not including the rolls is approx. 30" long.Note that it was heavily used; shows sign of use on a horse, typical wear due to age and storage. It is dusty and has age related scent from being in a tack room, etc. Wear throughout to top fabric, rolls, sheepskin, etc. including loose stitching, etc. See photos and closeups as all sides are shown.You don't often find original old corona parade saddle pads. These pieces were a lost art, hand tied rolls, etc. Great addition to a collection.
