Vintage BROWNING CENTENNIAL 1878-1978 - RARE 3-Blade Stockman -- MADE in GERMANY:

• This is a Vintage BROWNING GERMANY 3-Blade Stockman knife that was made to commemorate the U.S. firearm manufacturer's CENTENNIAL 1878-1978. It measures 3.5" long closed and has a 2.4" long Clip point main blade, a 1.75" Drop point blade, and a 1.5" long Pen blade made of STAINLESS STEEL. All three blades have GOOD SNAP but need to be properly sharpened. It has aBRASS LINER and PINS along with what appears to be highly unusual BRASS BOLSTERS.
  

• The handles are made of thick slabs of Cream and Brown jigged STAG ANTLER and are in excellent condition. Browning made pocket knives in both the U.S. and Germany between 1969 and 1983. This one was made in Germany in 1978. It has not been cleaned by me and is in as-found condition. Please see the pictures.
  

• The tang on the main blade is stamped with BROWNING over GERMANY on the front side, with the pattern number 1455on the back. The blade is etched BROWNING over CENTENNIAL with 1878 on the left and 1978 on the right.
