For sale is a vintage late 1940s Midwest model 816 multiband tube type radio. AM/FM plus more. All tubes and knobs are correct but one knob is missing. Listen to the video to hear how the reception was. Power cord is usable. Needs new capacitors as most radios this old do. Knobs turn as they should except the band switch knob is a little stiff to turn. Not much green showed on the eye tube. Might be the resistor? The 5U4 tube will be taken out of its socket for safer shipping. No antenna. Its cord and plug look good. The dial indicator moves as it should however I noticed the dial cord is getting thin in some areas. Some corrosion on one corner of the copper faceplate. No rust, odors or mice nests under the chassis. The maroon plastic escutcheon is good, no cracks or chips. The copper faceplate is a slightly bent back. Should be repairable.
