VINTAGE 2 Cup Teapot & Lid Fima Deruta Italy - RARE Hand Painted Dragon Pattern
This is an AMAZING VINTAGE hand painted teapot from Fima Deruta, Italy. The teapot features a RARE pattern fro Deruta items; a dragon. Rarely do you see a dragon on any Deruta items, let alone a teapot. This design is hand painted, and the dragons have human-like faces. It gives the teapot an AMAZING effect. The teapot can hold about 2 cups of tea (16 ounces), but was never used for that purpose. It's sat on a shelf for many years. In fact, it still has the original price tag from when it was purchased. It is about 6 inches in length (from spout to handle) and 4 inches in diameter at the widest point. It is about 5 inches high with the finial on the lid. It is in VERY GOOD USED CONDITION! There are ABSOLUTELY no visible chips, cracks, scratches, or discoloration. There is a repair on the inside of the lid where a piece came off when it was moved. You can not see this repair when the lid is on (see last photos).
