This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted and has been trimmed. Photo is of two African American men boxing aboard a ship entertaining US Naval crewman during World War I. Back of postcard identifies the ship as the USS Mercury a troop transfer ship.Please note that postcard has been trimmed and measures roughly 3.5 x 4 inches. It appears only the white areas have been trimmed and the whole picture remains intact. Also note fading along edges, typical of photos this age.
