We are pleased to offer at sale this ORIGINAL PRODUCTION CEL SKETCH which was created to produce a Season One SpongeBob SquarePants Animated Cartoon. Please note that hand-drawn production cels were only used for Season One. The item represents the ORIGINAL animator's conceptual drawing on animation paper. An acetate cel was then placed on top of the drawing paper, and hand-colored. Multiple cels would then be placed atop one another, including the background, the characters, and the foreground objects. The combined cels were then individually filmed. The original drawing, which we offer here at sale, represents the initial visual concept for a particular scene. This item is a unique piece of art and one-of-a-kind! Following Season One, a digital ink and paint animation process was utilized.
