This flag was presented at the 1985 Wright Memorial Dinner The Evolution of Flight 1903-1985. Many of these programs containing the flag were destroyed in a flood and not many remain.

This flag was flown on the last challenger mission STS-61A on October 30, 1985.On the very next mission, STS-51L on January 28, 1986 the Challenger disaster occurred.Challenger had the least missions (10) and miles of all the space shuttles.
