Up for sale today is this Oklahoma State Highway 259A sign. Made to the exact 2006 state standards, as used on this scenic highway (whenever Oklahoma DOT actually decides to follow them, bless their hearts).

SH-259A, a spur off of US-259, is the main access road for the popular Beavers Bend State Park in far southeastern Oklahoma, near Broken Bow. But y'all probably already knew that if you're reading this.

An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along State Highway 259A. There's only about six of them posted at any given time, so they're not real common on the collector's market. And OHP and the McCurtain County sheriff know where all six of them are supposed to be—on their posts, not in the trunk of your car. So here's your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece...without chancing legal trouble.

The sign is 20 by 16 inches, and weighs 8 lb. 3 oz.
