Dueto recent changes in ’s international shipping program,apparently each item is now subject to a separate shipping charge. Wecannot do anything about this – i.e. - “combining shipping” –as we have no control over the international shipping costs or anyfacet of ’s international program. and internationalcouriers are the ones in charge of the international portion of thetransaction, as are the fees that they charge. Q:Doyou combine shipping?


A:Formost items, yes! Inorder to take advantage of this, please use the “Add to Cart”button, NOT the “Buy It Now” button. Youshould see the cost of shipping stay the same (and discounts apply,if any) as you add more items to your cart. In the case of wanting tocombine shipping across multiple sales, no longer allowsbuyers to “Request Total from Seller”. So we now have to refundthe difference to you after the purchase is complete. In order forthis to happen, you MUSTnotifyus that you wish to do so. A:Everythingcomes from smoke-free, pet-free, windowless storage.


Q:IsXYZ real/authentic?


A:Weonly deal in real/authentic items. The only place that this has everreally come up for us, is with anime collectibles. So, allow us toaddress potential concernsand allay potential fears:


-The vast majority of anime stuff that we sell is out of our owncollection (or excess from Yahoo Japan sales lot sales), and wewould never buy “maligned” items for ourselves.


-Generally, less-than-genuine ( doesn’t like the ‘b’ word)collectible merchandise doesn’t ship fromthe US.


-Generally, non-genuine collectibles have a stock photo from themanufacturer’s website or something, and nothing else. For stuffthat WE sell likethis, we usually post many photos of the actual item. A practicethatsomeone who wishes to obfuscate their product’s quality, usuallyisn’t in the habit of doing.


-Most anime goods ARE NOT made in Japan. Despite pedantically puerileprotestations from the weeb contingent, like most things made ofplastic or plush, a large chunk of anime goods are made in China.Back in the 1980s or so a lot of toys and video games were made inJapan, but beginning with the 90s, most production shifted to otherEast Pacific nations. In fact, most of Takara Tomy A.R.T.S.’ stuffis produced in Vietnam these days. The one exception we can think ofoff the top of our heads is that some Gundam Plamo (Plastic Models)are still made in Japan. Outside of those, you’d be hard-pressed tofind anything anime-y that’s mass-manufactured, that’s still madein Japan. So, just because you see Made in China on something,doesn’t mean it’s a non-genuine product.


-As we publish in all anime-related sales we post; we ARE (were)collectors. Nearly everything, anime-wise, that we have has come fromsomewhere in Japan. We’d made online purchases from Hobby Search,AmiAmi, Hobbylink Japan, Mandarake, cdJapan, etc, as early as 2006,and Yahoo Japan sales starting in 2009.


Q:DoesX come with <item being asked about>?


A:Wetry our best to be completely transparent about what we offer and thecondition in which it is being sold. That’s why we use only plainbackgrounds, with nothing that could be misinterpreted as beingincluded alongside the item or items for sale. That said, what yousee is generally what you get. Certain exceptions are, when a blindbox/bag/ball item is posted and the packaging isn’t included,sometimes we will put an example package in the listing photo, sopeople will know what series is being advertised when they’rebrowsing. Or, sometimes we will accidentally omit something that ISincluded, from photos. In that case, it will appear in the item’sdescription. Again, if you are uncertain, it is always better to ASKthan assume.


Q:Doyou bundle?


A:There’sno need to “bundle”! Byusing the “Add to Cart” button,you can make your own bundle! Shipping will automatically combine inthe cart (for most items) and any discounts defined in the salelistings will apply – automatically!


Q:Itsays that my package has been shipped, but it isn’t moving! Whyhasn’t it been dropped off?


A:Weship via USPS, who, as you may or may not know, can be extremelyslow. The carrier that picks up our packages seldom scans them, andon rare occasions can go unscanned/notupdated for 3-4 days. Needless to say, we have no control over USPS’handling of packages after they leave our possession. That said,we’ve never had a package truly get lost, and we would ask for yourpatience and understanding in this matter.


Q:Whenis my order going to ship?


A:Weship five days a week, Monday through Friday. That said, we oftenschedule pickups for Saturdays, as well.


Q:Doyou ship to my country?


A:Generally,we ship worldwide. We ship ONLYthrough’s International Shipping Program. (This is old info, as theISP is pretty much the only way that allows sellers to shipabroad, now. And we are totally fine with that.)


Q:Whyis shipping to my country so expensive?!


A:WeDO NOT control the cost of international shipping.Whenyou purchase an item as an international customer of ’sInternational ShippingProgram, we prepare and ship your item to a shipping centerinthe US. Once there, then handles the rest; including customsforms and the dispatch of your package internationally. We aren’teven able to see how much you are charged by for theinternational shipping portion of the transaction. We also do notcontrol Import Taxes/Duties/Value Added Tax (VAT) or any variationthereof. Your country’s government levies these on purchases, ifany, and we have no say in the matter.


Q:CanI have a discount for reason XYZ?


A:Wefrequently offer discounts for multiple purchases (one good exampleis the LEGO Minifigures, which we frequently offer 5% or 10% off ofmulti-figure purchases), or we will incorporate “best offer” intolistings. Outside of that, unless you wish to buy manyofsomething, we don’t generally do discounts. If you dowishto purchase many of an item we’re selling, contact us and we may beable to work something out!


Additionally,if you make an offer and it is automatically rejected by ’sBest Offer system, that means that it DID NOT meet the pricethreshold we set. PLEASE DO NOT SEND US MESSAGES ASKING IF WE WILLACCEPT A LOWER OFFER. THE ANSWER IS, “NO.”


Q:Doyou do local pickup?


A:Nope,sorry.


Q:Doyou give some sort of “in-town discount” or reduced shipping foraddresses that are close-by?


A:Seeabove. It costs exactly the same to ship to you as it does to someonewho is a state or two away.


Q:Mypackage went to the wrong address!


A:Weonlyshipto Paypal-registered addresses that the buyer submits in theirtransaction. It is up to you, as the buyer, to ensure that youraddress is correct. We follow the information that you give to ,and that gives us when you make a purchase. As we don’tpersonally know you, we would have no idea that your address isn’tcorrect.


Q:Ican’t buy/offer on one of your items. What’s the deal?


A:Ifyou purchased something from us, and then canceled, we will block IDsat our discretion. If you make an offer and we accept, and then youdon’t pay and we have to cancel the transaction and relist, we willblock. Finally, if you’re being a nuisance, same deal.


Q:Iaccidentally bought something from you. I still want it, but I can’tpay until later in the week. Is that okay?


A:Absolutely!Just send us a message letting us know that you won’t be able topay for X amount of time (within reason, haha) and we’ll then knownot to cancel your transaction.


Q:Youknow what, I decided I don’t want this item after all. Is it okayif I cancel?


A:Please,by all means, send us a message asking to cancel your order, insteadof just waiting. You’re not going to upset us by asking to cancel.We’d much rather cancel and relist, than sit and wait for a paymentthat’s never going to come.


Q:Youkeep rejecting my offer. Why?


A:Weput “Best Offer” on a lot of our sales because we areabsolutely willing to haggle and deal, and because there isn’t alot of pricing history on certain things, we allow for some “wiggleroom”. However, we do research what we sell, and we know what ouritems are worth -- and more importantly what we ideally want to seemonetarily, from them. To that end, we place an auto-reject thresholdon nearly every Best Offer sale we post, because we’re nevergoing to accept a $4 offer on a $50 item, and apparently many peoplethink they’re being cute by lowballing. So we preemptively put astop to it.


Q:Doyou do trades?


A:We’vebeen getting this question a lot, so we figured we’d throw it intothe FAQ. No,sorry, we don’t trade. We’resellers, not collectors. Aside from that, trading violates ’sTerms of Service. There are several other platforms that lookfavorably on trading; isn’t one of them.


Q:“Whatis the lowest will you accept for <expensive item XYZ>?”


A:Pleasedon’tsend messages like this. For one thing, it’s incredibly tacky toask questions like that to a seller. Secondly, that’s not howoffers work.


Q: Will you make a custom lot for me with <Item from lot posted>and <Item from another lot>?


A: NO,we will not rearrange existing lots to make a custom lot. Lots areposted and sold as they exist.
