Description:It is anauthentic antique WoodcutPrintapproximately 145 years old. It is from the first edition ofHarper\'s Pictorial History of the Civil War,which was published by McDonnell Bros., Chicago, Ill., part one was published in1866and part II in1868.With the first part completed in 1866, it wasone of the firstworks to put into perspective the account of the Great Rebellion, complete with woodcut illustrations, most of which weredrawn on the spot by such artists as Winslow Homer, Granville Perkins, Livingston Hopkins and others forHarper\'s Weeklywhich chronicled the Civil War on a weekly basis. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The print is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheetas seen in the first pic. There is text on the reverse.Overall, avery nicely preserved print that would frame up well!

Size:The image areameasures approximately9by11 inches on a11by 16\"page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.

Condition:It isin Very Good condition for its age with overall tonal aging, basically as seen in the pics.There is some darkening around the edges, otherwise itis very clean and would frame up nicely.The pics are of the actual print.
