GREEK BYZANTINE ICON AXION ESTIN, GILT SILVER, GOLD, CRYSTALS, GLASS FRAME, IN BOX.

A superb religious Greek Orthodox Icon, copy of a Byzantine Orthodox Icon depicting the miraculous "Axion Estin" Theotokos (Virgin Mary) with child Jesus Christ.

Icon is made of pure Gilded Sterling Silver .950/1000 fineness, is finely and ornately decorated all over with an amazing quality detailed relief repousse, hand hammered and hand painted.

Theotokos crown is decorated with multicolor crystals.

Sterling Silver Icon is mounted on a black wood board plaque and is framed under glass in a real wood luxury frame which has on the upper backside a metal ringhook for hanging.

Pre-owned in an Excellent Condition. As seen in photos. Comes in original box & certificate on the back.
