This gem-quality fossil shark’s tooth measures 55.5 mm in length (2.2 inches) and is cappedwith a custom shark’s mouth design of pure 925 Sterling Silver. Accented witha fine faceted, triangular, Swiss Blue Topaz gem. A magnificent fossil toothwith good coverage of a warm blueish-grey fossilized enamel.

The teeth of the giant ancient shark, Megalodon, are among the most prized specimens for the prehistoric fossil collector. They are similar to those of today's Great White, but considerably larger. They were the largest carnivorous fish ever to have swum the oceans of our planet reaching lengths of up to 70 feet. They lived between 1.5 to 28 million years ago.
