An original October 1, 1962 issue of the Gadsden (Alabama) Times with a spectacular headline about the riots following the admission of Black student James Meredith. The headline is accompanied by eight other smaller articles on the riots plus photos of US Marshalls standing guard and federal forces marching. There are several other related articles inside, plus Letters to the Editor. About 15" x 24", 10 pages, toned with age (a bit tanner than my photos) but still supple and not brittle. Displays extremely well. A important piece of original source material and history, and an awesome addition to any collection.
