ValiantWomen Heroes of World War Two!
The famous P-47 Thunderbolt. Tens of thousands of pilots learned to fly in this aircraft. Everyone I talked to who flew the Thunderbolt said that they loved it. What a true American Classic!
Florene joined the Women Volunteer Pilots and served with Jackie Cockran. They both traveled to England where they worked with the women in the RAF who were very active...they brought their knowledgehome and started the official..."WASP." Florene trained American airmen in the classroom all the way to actual lying lesions. She was one of the hardest working of the bunch. She and Jackie Cockran gained much information when they went to England and studied how the RAF had incorporated women into their ranks. They came back and started the WASP program which trained tens of thousandsof American Men to fly and flight all over the world. After the war Florene moved to Texas and was a leading teacher in the University system. When she passed away,I cried, she was a wonderful woman.
HANG some History on your Walls!
WASP pilot Florene Miller was listed as one of the best women pilots of the war. She was an expert in all flying. Florene Miller would have been an Ace if she had been given the chance...to shoot down Germans. She did volunteer for active duty and was turned down. TOP THAT!Our print honors WASP Pilot Florene Miller.Florene loved the P-47 and the P-51 Mustangs. She has personally autographed each print with a graphic pencil. It was an honor to have worked with the WASP pilots.
These make great gifts for the lady pilots in your life. These are great prints for young girl's room.
Every airport should have one of these prints hanging in the airport waiting room!Print size is 12x18". Published on heavy duty museum paper.
I am an aviation artist and historian. I have worked with well over one hundred pilots from World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the present-day Desert Wars. We have published 85 different prints. We have also published seventy-five limited editions prints that have been autographed by the pilots.
I have something for everyone from Messerschmitt’s to Mustangs and F4 Phantom. I have worked with American pilots of all services. I have also worked with British, German, French, Japanese and Italian fighter and bomber pilots. Each and every pilot saw combat except for the WASP pilots. We also have worked with the Tuskegee Airmen, The WASP, and the A.V.G.
