This scarce antique sample size Palmer's Vegetable Cosmetic Lotion bottle was manufactured in the late 1800's by Solon Palmer of New York and was said to cure: pimples, scaly & unsightly eruptions, tetter, eczema, burns, & C. It is a unique piece and is perfect for collectors of quack medicine/ cosmetic bottles. The bottle is in excellent condition for its age and is a beautiful rare find! It shows no signs of damage (cracks, chips, or scratches)Please see the photos for details and minor imperfections.This blown in mold (BIM) with tooled ring lip bottle stands approximately 2" tall .75" wide & .5" in depth and is Embossed on three sides as follows: FRONT-- "Vegetable Cosmetic" SIDES-- "Palmer's" / "Lotion". A great looking little bottle and a really neat piece of history! Not a commonly seen bottle that is perfect for display in museums or personal collections and can serve as a reminder of the advancements that have been made in the field of medicine.
