Nice solid antique shape. No cracks in wood. Shows normal wear and age. Has some scratches and scuffs. Has some bubbles in the papers. It does seem to be in working order. It may need some adjustments. When you put the penny in you push the platform one way and then the other and the matchbook pops out. To open the back take a screwdriver and move the metal piece up release the latch. It is primitive, but it is cool. It displays well and works. Measures 14" tall.
