Antique? Burmese Kalaga Huge Tapestry. In general a Kalaga embroidery is a heavily embroidered appliqué tapestry, often a mixture of linen, silk, velvet, flannel, cotton and other materials. Adorned with sequins, glass stones and intricate metallic stitching. This piece would have taken a long time to produce. Colors still vibrant. General historical wear and fraying to material boarder, some losses of stones and sequins, general historical wear in conjunction with age.
