For your consideration is this antique aluminum seafood serving tray, perfect for any occasion, whether it's a bachelorette party, beach party, or just a summer gathering. The tray is shaped like a scallop sea shell with jagged and ruffled edges, giving it a unique beach decor feel. It features an attached sauce bowl and an embossed floral motif, making it perfect for serving oysters, shrimp, scallops, and clams. Crafted in or around 1910s when Aluminum Ware became all the rage, this tray is an original piece from the Art Nouveau period. It is polished to a beautiful silver finish and measures 14 inches in length, 13 inches in width, and 2 inches in height. The tray has two compartments and is large enough to serve a variety of seafood items. Hand wash only and enjoy this vintage piece at your next gathering. This is a rare piece you won't likely come across anytime.Condition: Good overall condition with abrasions observed. Appears this was used as a kitchen display for years and originally there was quite a bit of old kitchen grease stuck to it. I have steam cleaned and used solvents to remove just about all of it. Some remnants may have remained, specifically on the bottom and underneath the sauce bowl.
