DESCRIPTION/CONDITION

For sale is a set of five (5) Christmas mugs featuring Santa hanging off the mug which is in the shape of a Christmas tree.
Overall they measure approximately 4-1/8" T x 3-1/4" D x 5" W
There is no maker identified on the piece there is the following printed on the bottom "66-X" or "X-99" Based on my research my guess it would be either made by Napcoware or Lefton and likely made in between 1955 - 1969. They are similarly designed to the Holt Howard Wintergreen mugs which were made in the early 1960s. I have researched them quite a bit and cannot find this particular style but assume they were made in Japan like most pieces of this era.
Overall the mugs are in very poor condition, this would be a great set to repurpose or to repair. All pieces have considerable damage from chips, cracks, crazing, broken pieces, staining, and paint loss. There is one mug of the five that is in pretty decent shape but sadly they were not well cared for over the years.
