Up for sale is 3 original Kiss solo albums signed in person by Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. I’ve been a collector of movie memorabilia and autographs for several years. I’ve been to a lot of comic/entertainment and horror conventions where I've obtained a lot of my autographs. Although I’m not a fan of Kiss, I’ve always recognized their place in pop culture and important contribution to rock & roll, so when each of these 3 members of the band made appearances at conventions in the northeast, I had each of them sign their solo album for my collection. Here’s a little bit about where and when I got these albums signed:

Peter Criss - I met Peter at the October 2010 Chiller Theatre Sci-Fi/Horror convention in Parsippany NJ. I found Peter to be very personable and friendly, making conversation with everyone that met him. I actually asked him about other bands they toured with including Journey and what those bands were like. He was a nice guy, definitely enjoyed meeting him.

Ace Frehley - I met Ace at the October 2012 Chiller Theatre Sci-Fi/Horror convention in Parsippany NJ. As we stood on Ace’s line, we noticed that there was a sign that said Ace only wanted 1 person at a time at his table to get an autograph. We overheard other people in the room mentioning that he had anxiety and could only handle talking with 1 person at a time. Despite the sign, both myself and my friend walked up to his table and he was just fine. We had brief conversation with him about the music business and he was very nice.

Gene Simmons - I met Gene at the November 2017 Rhode Island Comic-Con convention in Providence RI. Over the weekend of the show, his lines were insane and practically down the street. I got to the convention on Sunday, the last day of the show and close to when things were wrapping up. This turned out to be an advantage for me because the lines for big stars like Gene Simmons were down to around just 20 people. I managed to slip onto the end of the line, so I was the very last person for him to meet. When I got to his table, he was wearing dark sunglasses. He quickly took my album, signed it then just looked at me, did not say a word then walked behind the curtain. What I regret is he grabbed my album so quick and signed with a dark marker that I didn’t have a chance to say please sign it with silver like the other 2 albums. I guess after 3 days of having to talk with thousands of people, anybody would be exhausted and done, couldn’t blame him for wanting to get out of there.

If you’re a Kiss fan or autograph collector, these albums are for you. As I said I’m not a Kiss fan but I’ve always had a lot of respect for their them and what they’ve contributed to rock and roll. I think these would be better off in the collection of a true Kiss fan. I obtained all 3 of these autographs from these guys in person, so I can attest that they are 1000% authentic! Happy offerding!
