Land of Israel, antique bituminousvase (Dead Sea stone).

This formal design is common to the end of the 19th century, when Israel area

was under Ottoman rule.

Hand-engraved decoration all around, marked at bottom\"Dead Sea\" and signed -

see picture 4.

There is one side with worn wear from the browning that shows the natural stone

underneath -see picture 3.

In general it is in good condition for its age, few signs of wear and traces of use,

minor defects.

Approx 90mm height, 74mm at widest, 350g.
