The clock does need to be serviced by a professional.
The cuckoo bird likes to stay open after it cuckoos and the door has to be manually closed.
The spring chime that the hammer hits needs to be adjusted .
The clock runs, however I have noticed that the pendulum likes to sporadically stop.
